Description
The MSc Computer Science at the University of Exeter is a conversion master’s degree designed for graduates from non-computing backgrounds. The programme provides intensive training in programming, algorithms, software development, and data systems, enabling students to develop the technical and analytical skills needed for a successful computing career.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in modern computing technologies while also exploring specialist areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and human-centred computing. The course combines theoretical foundations with practical application through group projects and an individual research dissertation.

Entry Requirements
- UK 2:2 degree (or equivalent) in any subject
- Applicants from non-computing backgrounds are encouraged
- English language requirement: IELTS 6.5 overall (no less than 6.0 per section)
